Description
This Test Kit is for the filtration method development with 2″ or 5″ capsules. With the 5″ capsule, you have the perfect tool for the first up-scale test between 5 and 10 L. This procedure is designed to determine the dosage and grade of filter aid, to clarify a feedstock cell broth, for a given single-use FILTRODISCTM BIO SD filter size. The proper amount of filter aid depends on the concentration of solids in the feedstock (cell broth). Solids and filter aid form a filter cake which has a height limitation due to the design (geometry) of the filter capsule. Applications: CHO cell removal, bacteria removal, yeast removal, insect cell removal, cell debris removal, mAbs production.
